Writing in his 2014 memoir, Robert Gates, the eminently respected national security professional, said this of Joe Biden: “He has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” Yikes. That’s an indictment of Biden’s judgment, not just of his record. And when it comes to matters of war and peace, bad judgement can be lethal.
