Claire Christensen Audio Update: The Biden Administration Refuses to Stand Up to China

While the Biden Administration continues talking, China continues to get closer and closer and closer to its 2049 goal, which is becoming the world’s dominant superpower.

When Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman went to China on Monday to meet with Chinese officials, I don’t know what the Biden administration was expecting to learn. During those meetings, the United States was accused of “coercive diplomacy.” Additionally, the Chinese officials said “the United States is in no position to lecture China on democracy and human rights.”

While the Biden Administration continues talking, China continues to get closer and closer and closer to its 2049 goal, which is becoming the world’s dominant superpower. A friend of mine once told me that with every meeting the United States has, China gets one step closer towards meeting its goal.

You probably heard the saying that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expecting a different result. When deputy secretary of state Wendy Sherman went to China on Monday to meet with Chinese officials, I don’t know what the Biden administration was expecting to learn. During those meetings. The United States was accused of coercive diplomacy. Additionally, the Chinese officials said, quote, the United States is in no position to lecture China on democracy and human rights. This is no different than what we saw back in March. When secretary of state Tony Blinken and national security advisor, Jake Sullivan went to Anchorage, Alaska to meet with Chinese communist party officials. During those meetings, the United States was lectured for more than 15 minutes on our record on human rights, as well as our version of democracy. The Chinese communist party officials also told the United States during those meetings, that many people in the us had lost faith in us democracy.

None of this is of course true. However, what these talks ultimately do rather than aNone of this is of course true. However, what these talks ultimately do rather than accomplish anything concrete between the United States and the Chinese Communist party is they give the Chinese communist party’s viewpoints, a platform. American media outlets, news shows, social media and Chinese propaganda outlets alike will all report on the statements that were said during these meetings. Of course, some of which will have a spin on those. So while the Biden Administration continues talking, China continues to get closer and closer and closer to its ultimate 2049 goal, which is becoming the world’s dominant superpower. A friend of mine once told me that with every meeting the United States has China gets one step closer towards meeting it’s goal.

I think this holds some very valuable lessons. So the Biden Administration has ultimately shown no leadership in terms of pressuring the international Olympic committee to move the Olympics out of Beijing in 2022. This again will give the Chinese Communist Party, an international platform of millions of people who will tune into the Olympic games to celebrate the Chinese Communist Party’s achievements. The Chinese Communist Party should not be celebrated after imprisoning more than a million Uyghur in Xinjiang, eradicating democracy and freedom in Hong Kong, threatening the sovereignty of Taiwan and persecuting other ethnic and religious minorities throughout China for decades, the Chinese Communist Party should not be given a voice internationally. We need to stop talking and start acting. The U S Congress has put forward some important bills, that could help deter the Chinese communist party threat. One of these is the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, which will help remove products and prevent products from entering the United States that have been made with slave labor in Xinjiang., The China task force in the house has also put forward a series of recommendations that should be taken up by the administration and also members of Congress. We know what we need to do, but it’s time to stop talking and start acting.
