Last week, we asked readers “How would you grade the candidates on their debate performance?” from the first presidential debate on September 29th. The results are now in after 1,988 readers judged the candidates on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being “poor” and 5 being “excellent.” On average, President Trump had a rating of 3.51, while Vice President Biden held a rating of 1.81.

‘Last week, we asked readers “Should the Senate Vote to Fill a Supreme Court Vacancy Weeks before a Presidential Election?” A huge number of readers responded with a total of 2,706 votes cast. Readers were overwhelmingly in favor of the Senate filling the vacancy, with 98.89% (2,676 readers) voting “Yes” in response to the question.
