Many students who live on college campuses must protect themselves should danger arise when they are far from home. The proposed $200 tax stamp proposed for those who own a so-called short-barreled rifle pistol is simply not feasible for a young adult attempting to pay through school. Roughly 40 million of these weapons are owned by Americans now, making this an unprecedented crackdown on firearms.
