California’s forests are burning. California’s governor, Gavin Newsom, says fires are raging because of climate change. Many scientists, however, attribute the spread of fires to improper forest management. As the United Nations marks its 75th anniversary this week, it’s worth recalling the organization’s purpose. For those who don’t remember, it’s spelled out in the first words of the UN Charter:
“We the people of the United Nations determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind.”
In short, the UN was created to prevent World War III. Too many people wrongly think the UN has succeeded.
The American people must know about the Biden family cronyism, corruption, and dishonesty before they even think about giving them access to the oval office.

The New York Times launched the 1619 Project last year with an ambitious aim: To “reframe” American history, portraying 1619 as the year of America’s “true founding.” However, after a barrage of criticism from scholars on both sides of the political spectrum, the 1619 Project started to let some air out of the balloon.
