What Newt’s Reading There are some significant vote counting irregularities in WI, MI, and PA — and Twitter has decided to muzzle all conversations about it. -Newt Yes, Democrats Are Trying to Steal the Election in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania By John Daniel Davidson The Federalist When reporters and commentators went to bed early Wednesday morning, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania were too close to call, but President Trump enjoyed comfortable leads in all three states. Overnight, successive vote dumps favoring Joe Biden by suspiciously lopsided margins in Wisconsin and Michigan swung those states toward Biden. In one Michigan dump, Biden got 138,339 votes while Trump got exactly none. Soon, Twitter started censoring anybody who raised concerns over the sudden vote drop in Michigan. Later, it was clarified that the vote dump was the result of a typing error in Shiawassee County, Michigan. It’s likely that the error was only discovered because conservatives noticed it and cried foul. Similarly, in Antrim County, Michigan, where Trump beat Hillary Clinton by 30 points in 2016, initial tallies showed Biden ahead of Trump by 29 points, a result that most journalists admitted could not be accurate. In Wisconsin, Biden suddenly overcame a 4.1-point Trump lead after a vote dump came 100 percent in his favor. In Pennsylvania, the Democratic secretary of state plans to count late mail-in ballots as though they were received on Election Day, even if they lacked a postmark. Between suspicious vote dumps in Wisconsin and Michigan, typing errors in Michigan, and strange, late mail-in ballot counting rules in Pennsylvania, it seems evident that Democrats are trying to steal this election in these states. Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight calls on Fox News and the AP to retract their calling Arizona for Biden since many ballots are still left to be counted. -Newt Election Forecaster Nate Silver on Fox News, AP Calling Arizona for Biden: ‘Should Be Retracted Now’ By Ryan Saavedra Daily Wire FiveThirtyEight election forecaster Nate Silver called on Fox News and the Associated Press to retract their projections that Joe Biden will win the state of Arizona. Following a late dump of votes from Maricopa County, which accounts for a large portion of the state’s population, Biden’s lead in the state narrowed significantly. Silver wrote that outlets that had called the race had jumped the gun. He also wrote that, while he considered Biden to be the favorite to carry Arizona, the state should not have been called prematurely. On MSNBC, election forecaster Steve Kornacki stated that late-arriving mail-in ballots were breaking in Trump’s favor, with the incumbent getting 59 percent of the county’s vote dump last night. He went on to say that President Trump was running at the margin he needed to overcome Biden’s lead in the state up to that point and that NBC News had not called the state because such a possibility existed. Big Tech is censoring conservative voices, including myself, from sharing information about post-election irregularities. -Newt Big Tech Censorship Is Proof That Media Are Trying to Steal the Election for Democrats By Jordan Davidson The Federalist Twitter is censoring conservatives who share information regarding the integrity of Tuesday’s presidential election, reinforcing the perception that the social media giant is helping Democrats steal this election. The Federalist’s John Daniel Davidson wrote an article titled detailing the suspicious activity associated with key battleground states. Twitter then prohibited the sharing and liking of the article and restricted commenting on it. The company also attached a label claiming the piece contained “disputed” or “misleading” information about the election. Earlier, Twitter prevented users from interacting with tweets sent out by The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis restating a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling allowing the counting of post-election day ballots and questioning a large trove of votes that went entirely for Joe Biden in Wisconsin and Michigan. President Trump himself was censored for claiming that the Democrats were looking to steal the election while Biden’s lawyer, Bob Bauer, remained unscathed for claiming that Biden had won despite key states remaining too close to call. Given the labels and the limited distribution of conservative posts, it is clear that Twitter is more focused on making a Biden win seem like an inevitability than ensuring all legal ballots are accurately counted so that both sides can have confidence in the outcome of the election. American voters rejected the Pelosi-Schumer agenda. -Newt A Pelosi-Schumer Defeat By The Editorial Board Wall Street Journal Aside from the media’s pollsters, the biggest losers of the 2020 general election appear to be House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is set to return as majority leader of the Senate as Republicans gained a seat in Alabama while losing seats in Colorado and Arizona. Vulnerable Republican incumbents like Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Joni Ernst (R-IA) held on to win while Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) also seems headed to reelection. Democrats poured millions of dollars into competitive Senate races, but it seems their radical agenda, including the Green New Deal and packing the Supreme Court, is dead even if Joe Biden prevails in the presidential contest. Pelosi will likely keep her majority in the House, but Republicans made key gains by winning Democrat-held seats in western Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Iowa. Republican gains will test Pelosi’s hold on her caucus and the breathing room she has to pass legislation, including COVID-19 relief. It is also clear that the Republican message of economic opportunity resonated with minority voters as Republicans garnered more minority support than they had in decades. Meanwhile, Democrats have solidified their position as the party of the coastal elite and government unions. Even if Biden wins the presidential election, the Democratic left has lost this country. The president has addressed the American health care system's underlying problems to deliver lower costs, better care, and more choice. -Newt Implementing a Health Plan That Puts Patients First By Seema Verma Washington Times In an age when Americans have immediate access to all sorts of information, it’s unacceptable that they don’t have such access to health information. President Trump has been criticized for having no health care plan, but, to the contrary, his administration has been using free-market policies to reduce health care costs and increase choices for American families. Recently, the administration finalized a rule that would make health care pricing information more transparent to Americans who depend on private insurance. The administration has also revealed the first-ever Medicaid & CHIP Scorecard to show how well Medicaid is treating its beneficiaries. Significantly, the administration has also required all qualified health care plans doing business in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal exchanges to allow patients to access their personal health data electronically, a must in the digital age. Even though many medical health conglomerates have sued unsuccessfully to retain their special privileges, the president is not dissuaded and will continue to fight for ordinary patients.
